~*~ThInGs To Do In OkLaHoMa~*~

Hi all!  Here are some ideas on things to do when visiting Oklahoma City.....

If you are looking for a fun activity for the whole family, head to Frontier City.  This is the largest theme park in Oklahoma and is centrally located in Oklahoma City.  There are many rides for everyone in the family to enjoy.  From the Diamondback and Renegade Rapids to the Swings and Grand Carousel, there are rides for both big and little kids!

Baseball, America's favorite pastime, was greatly enhanced with the addition of a state of the art stadium, the SBC Bricktown Ballpark in April 1998.  Many fans love going to games here because there is not a bad seat in the stadium.  They also love the atmosphere both inside and outside of the stadium.  The Ballpark is located in the heart of Bricktown, so after the game you can go and grab a bite to eat at one of the fabulous restaurants.

The Oklahoma City Zoo is celebrating their 100 year anniversary this year.  Families looking to have an excellent day by walking around and seeing nature's finest animals, will greatly enjoy a trip to The Zoo.  While there, one can have a picnic lunch in  The Canopy Food Court or have a gathering at one of the rental facilities.  Going to the Oklahoma Zoo in the summer is a great educational experience for your children and they will often remember the things they got to see and do while they are there.  To plan a trip to The Zoo, please click on the link below.

Oklahoma is also known for its small lakes, where you can participate in water sports, swim, or relax and fish. http://www.youroklahoma.com/
